Ivi. in the Pearland Bank Building with the following city officials and guests in attendance: Ifayor " - E. T.: Gibbons Aldermen- Victor A. 1101011, John Kegley, Tom Alexander, Gene E. Sanders, David L. Smith Guest - E. J. David, S. T. Watts, Orlin O'Day. H. C. Wilson Engineer - W. C. Iffalsh h'ayor Gibbons explained that it was his interest to conform va.th the time for council me etint--s . The minutes of the meeting of Nov. 7, 1963 were read and Epproved. . A motion was made by Tom Alexander that the final plat of Elton- J. Davis Subdivision be approved.by the city of Pea rland subject to charges requested by the city engineer and withholding mayor Gibbons signature until changes have been made and approved by tl-e -city engineerk4oti-on seconded by V.. A. Nolen . All- Aldermen voted "Aye" with no "Noes." The committee on investigating the skeet range to be located on Dixie Farm Road and 518 reported the location for the range is not considered a safe or acceptable location for a skeet range in t he city and would offend the nearby residents. A motion was made by David L. Smith and seconded by Tom Alexander that 141r. Ellerton be advised' of the cityy's, disapproval of the. location for the skeet range. All .Aldermen voted "Aye" with no "Noes." Alderman Kegley reported that his 6ontacts on.rer_tal_cars had met with little success. It was reported that several of the street signs have been. knocked down, or des- troyed and should be replaced. _ Iaayor Gibbons reported that a citizen from Twin Creek Woods has requested the city to install speed and street signs in the subdivisi pile Nayor Gibbons read a letter to the council from Brazoria County Realty Company -requesting release of Bond and acceptance of the streets in Regency Park Subdivision. A lenghty discussion evolved on the storm sewer project. A motion 1r:as made by Ton Ale;cander on the recommendation of the Chief of Police that the Plymouth police car be purchased from Alvin Equipment Company as per terms of the bid for a trade price of ;1,595.00. hiloti on sec ended by V.
