The minutes .of the meeting of January 17, 1963 were read corrected and approved

A motion v.,as made by Tom Alexander to authorize the Street. and Bridge
Committee to tape bids and install street mar'�ers and signs. Motion seconded
by V . A. Noleng, All Aldermen voted "Aye" -va th no "1Toes" .
1,ayor Gibbons next discussed the 'p�°oblem of utility bills for the fire
department. A motion was ;r:ade by V. A. Nolen ard seconded by Gene Sanders
that the city pay the lights and gas utility bills for the fire..•s'ta'i*orio',:; All Aldermen voted "Aye" vdth no "hoes". -----------
A motion :vas made by David L. Smith and seconded by John Kegley that tho,Vdity
participate lwi th the civi-e organizations in placing signs on --the �r;ater:` tourer
and the fire department in the amount of 'x61.25. All Aldermen -.voted
wi t h no "hoes ."

The Street and Bridge Com:attee reported that they are- prepared:ryo,'-re-con.mend
streets for repair work during tIn fiscal year of 1963 and 1964 to the
counts- com issioner.
Mayor Gi cbons instructed the city- attorney to prepare the necessary forms for
the coming city electi on in April'.
Yayor Gib' -,ons next discussed the possibility of hiring a city planning
officer to help plan frog the futu.re.
