A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND,
TEXAS, AWARDING A BID FOR DEMOLITION SERVICES ASSOCIATED
WITH THE FEMA BUY-OUT PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section I. That the City opened bids for demolition services associated with the
FEMA Buy-Out Program, and such bids have been reviewed and tabulated.
That the City Council hereby awards the bid to AAR, Inc. in the amount

Pursuant to your request, Bay Environmental, Inc. has reviewed the two apparent low bids submitted on
Januapj 8, 2002 for thc subject project..
Each of thc two apparent low bidders were forwarded a questionnaire (copy attached) requesting
confirmation of the start date, project duration, ARU f~s and sewer tap removal and r~pair. Each
contractor w~ also asked if they were aware of any other concerns or conditions that may directly effect
completion of this contract pursuant to the plans and specifications.
Based on out review of the proposal submitted and the response to our questionnaire pro~ided by AAR,
Inc. Bay Envimnmantal, Inc. has no objections with awarding the contract to the apparent low bidder,
^RR, he. in the mount of $104¢15,00.
We have worked with AAR, Inc. as well as JTB, their demolition contractor, in the past and have found
no problem; with their performance or quality of work.
