R2001-0149 10-22-01 RESOLUTION NO. R2001-149 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, SUPPORTING VARIANCE APPLICATION NUMBER V01-14, SEEKING A VARIANCE TO THE CITY OF PEARLAND LAND USE ORDINANCE, SECTION 22.6, ENTITLED BUILDING FACADES, TO ALLOW THE USE OF INSULATED COATED PANELS ON COMMERCIALLY ZONED PROPERTY. WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a workshop on September 13, 2001, to evaluate the use of insulated coated panels as acceptable material for building facades; and WHEREAS, the City Council has directed staff to draft an amendment to the City's Land Use and Urban Development Ordinance allowing the use of insulated coated panels on certain commercially zoned properties in the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council supports variance application V01-14 as the applicant's intended use of insulated coated panels is consistent with the City's proposed amendments to the Land Use and Urban Development Ordinance; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. The City Council supports variance application V01-14 as the applicant's intended use of insulated coated panels is consistent with the City's proposed amendments to the Land Use and Urban Development Ordinance.
