PBS&J therefore recommends acceptance of the attached Change Order No. 1 by the City of Pearland, which is to include: 1. Removal of all silt fencing. 2. Regrading of the detention pond sideslopes will only be performed where the erosion control blanket is installed. 3. Rollerchop/discing and hydro seed of the SWEC islands will be removed from the project. 4. Placement of crushed concrete around the SWEC shorelines will be reduced from 10-ft wide to 5- ft wide. 5. The limits of the Erosion Control Blanket at SWEC will be reduced from EL 45.5 to EL 42.2. 6. All plantings will be reduced by 50%. The reduction will be to the area of coverage, not to the density of coverage. 7. Coverage area of the seeding will be revised to reflect the change in coverage area of the plantings. These changes have been made in the interest of budgetary concerns while still maintaining the intent and purpose of the project. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
