A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PEARLAND, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM
METRO FINANCIAL CORPORATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City hereby accepts the attached Quitclaim Deed from
Metro Financial Corporation.
Section 2. That the City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to record
such Quitclaim Deed in the Real Estate Records of Brazoria County, Texas.

That METRO FINANCIAL CORPORATION, a defunct Texas corporation, hereinafter
called GRANTOR, for and in consideration of the sum ofTEN AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($10.00)
cash in hand paid by CITY OF PEARLAND, a Texas Home Rule Municipal Corporation, hereinafter
called GRANTEE, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, and other good and
valuable consideration; does hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, remise, release and forever QUIT
CLAIMS unto said GRANTEE, on behalf of himself, his heirs, executors, administrators, successors,
representatives and assigns, all the right, title, interest, claim or demand which the GRANTOR may
have had in and to the following described property (the "Property") being situated in Brazoria
County, Texas, to-wit:
A three-foot wide fee strip located east of and adjoining Woodereek Drive reserved
by Metro Financial Corporation as set out by the plat of Woodereek Addition,
Section One according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 14 Page 79 of
the Map Records of Brazoria County, Texas, labeled as "3' FEE STRIP" as shown on
Exhibit "A' attached hereto.
This conveyance is made and accepted subject to all restrictions, reservations, covenants,
conditions, fights-of-way, and easements of record in the office of the County Clerk of Brazoria County,
Texas, affecting the above-desenq~ed Property.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described Property and premises, together with all
and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the said GRANTEE, its
successors and assigns forever, so that neither GRANTOR nor any other person claiming under
GRANTOR shall at anytime claim or demand any right, title or interest to the said tract of land or its
appurtenances.
RECORDER'S MEMORANDUM:
At the time of recordation, this instrument was found to be
inadequate for the best photographic reproduction because
of illegibility, carbon, or photo-copy, discolored paper, etc.
All bJockouts, additions and changes were present at the
time the instrument was filed and recorded.
