RS0- 8 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE 5IAYOR TO EXBCUTE A CONTRACr BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF PEARLAND AND AD VALOREM RECORDS, INC. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, that the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City, a Contract by and between the City of Pearland and Ad Valorem Records, Inc; regarding water billing. Mayor ATTEST: 7 City Secretary~ -7 ' CONTRACT FOR THE PREPARATION OF WATER B~LLING FOR THE C~TY OF PEARLAND Ad Valorem Records, Inc., 4409 Montrose Blvd., Houston, Texas, a Texas Corporation, does hereby enter into an agreement with the City of Pea~land, wherein Ad Valorem Records, Inc., is contracted to prepare the monthly water billing. The services to be performed are shown in Exhibit "A" and "B", attached hereto and made a part of the record. All work will be performed under the direct supervision of the Water Office and entirely to their satisfaction. This agreement shall be for a period of one (1) year; however, the City of Pearland may cancel this agreement upon thirty (30) days written notice if Ad Valorem Records, Inc. does not comply with the specifications contained herein or if there is disatisfaction with our services. COMPUTER RUNS INCLUDED IN BASE RA~ES A. See Exhibit "B" for detail listing. III. KEYPUNCHING CHARGES A. Payments will be 35 each. B. Meter Reads will be 35 each. C. All other keypunching will be charged at 85 per record. (Examples of other keypunching include:) 1. finals 5. flat rates 2. transfers 6. adjustments 3. name/address/city/state/zip 7. tables/ security deposits/ ~. service address/meter number and special switches D. Set up fee will be charged as follows: 1. 205 per unit between November i and April 30. Minimum charge $50.00. 2. 305 per unit between May i and July 10. Minimum charge $50.00. 3. 355 per unit between July ll and October 31. Minimum charge $50.00 IV. PICK UPS AND DELIVERIES A. The "Base Rate" does not include pick up'or delivery. B. Bus or Purolator charges will be invoiced to the Jurisdiction by Ad Valorem Records. C. The charge for Ad Valorem Records' pick up and delivery will be 18.5 cents per mile round trip. Notification by 3:30 P.M. the preceding day is required for pick up by Ad Valorem. V. MATERIAL COSTS All forms are part of the "Base Rate".~ See Exhibit "B" for detail listing. A.
