R2011 -141 A RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, CASTING VOTES FOR CANDIDATES FOR THE FORT BEND COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS. WHEREAS, V.T.C.A. TX Code, Section 6.03(g) provides that the governing body of each taxing unit is entitled to vote for members of the Board of Directors of the County Appraisal District, and shall determine its vote by Resolution and submit to the Chief Appraiser by December 15, 2011; and WHEREAS, the City of Pearland is entitled to vote and desires to cast votes for the positions to be filled on the Board of Directors of the Fort Bend County Appraisal District; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: That the Official Ballot for the candidates of the Board of Directors of the Fort Bend County Appraisal District, shown as Exhibit "A is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. II. That said Official Ballot indicates thereon the number of votes for each candidate cast by the City Council of the City of Pearland. III. That the City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to submit the Official Ballot containing the votes cast by the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, and a certified copy of this Resolution to the Chief Appraiser of Fort Bend County by December 15, 2011. 1 RESOLUTION NO.
