APRIL , A. D. 1968, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PEARLAND, BRAZORIA COUNTY, TEXAS, CONVENED IN A
REGULAR SESSION AT THE CITY HALL ANNEX IN THE CITY OF
PEARLAND, TEXAS, WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS PRESENT:
D. R. Keller, Mayor Gene E. Sanders, Councilman
E. A. Wasek, Councilman Dale Watson, Councilman
A. G. Ellis, Councilman B. J. Courtright, Councilman
WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS ABSENT:

CONSTITUTING A QUORUM, AT WHICH THE FOLLOWING PROCEEDINGS
WERE HAD AND HELD:
COUNCILMAN Courtright INTRODUCED A RESOLUTION
THAT IT BE MADE A MATTER OF RECORD THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE
GOVERNING BODY FEELS THAT IT WOULD BE IN THE BEST INTEREST
OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND'S CITIZENS AND FACILITATE THE FLOW
OF TRAFFIC FROM THE PEARLAND-kRIENDSWOOD AREAS INTO THE
HOUSTON METROPOLITAN AREA FOR DIXIE FARM ROAD TO BE OPENED
AND IMPROVED FROM F. M. 518 TO ELLINGTON FIELD OVERPASS.
