R72-01 02-07-7272-1 JOINT REPRESENTATIVES FOR HOME RULE CITIES UNDER 25,000 TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL FOR 1971 WERE: Mayor Jack Reid of Lake Jackson Councilman James Cook of Deer Park BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of City of Pear]and acting jointly with other home rule cities under 25,000 population according to the 1970 Census which are located within the area served by the Houston- Galveston Area Council, and such cities being members of the Houston-Galveston Area Council, that James Cook and Asa Yeamans be, and they are hereby, designated as our representatives to the Executive Committee of the Houston- Galveston Area Council for the year 1972. FURTHER THAT, the official Alternates authorized to serve as our representatives to the Executive Committee should either or both of the hereinabove named repre- sentatives become ineligible or if either or both of such representatives resign, are Alvin Baqqett as Alternate for James Cook and ~O~.g~!~zV~ as Alternate for Asa Yeamans THAT, the Executive Director of the Houston-Galveston Area Council be notified of our designations: Asa Yeamans Committee, and George T.
