R77-12 07-11-77RESOLUTION NO 'R7'712 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF CERTAIN PUBLIC REAL PROPERTY; DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENDED SALE; AND CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, I, That the following described real property, presently owned in fee simple by the CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, be and the same is hexer by offered for sale to the general public, to the highest bidder for cash, to -wit: SURFACE AND SURFACE ESTATE ONLY: Lots Twenty (20), Twenty-one (21), Twenty-two (22), Twenty- three (23), Twenty-four (24) and Twenty -give (25), Block Fourteen (14) of PEARLAND TOWNSITE, Brazoria County, Texas, according to the duly recorded -map or plat of said Pearland Townsite of record in Volume 29, Page 41, Deed Records, Brazoria County, Texas; and The South one hundred twenty-fivefeet (S-125') of theSouth-:one half of that certain strip of land, fifty feet (50') in width, more or less, running parallel and adjacent to the G. C. & S. F. Right -of -Way and located between such G, C, & S. F. Right -of -Way and Block Fourteen (14) of the Pearland Townsite, City of Pearland, Brazoria County, Texas, according to the duly recorded map or plat thereof as redorded in the office of the County Clerk of Brazoria County, Texas, and being the same land, described in that certain Deed dated January 12, 1963, executed by Myrtle Herridge et al to Conner Herridge, recorded in Volume 840, Page 4 of the Deed Records of Brazoria County, Texas to which Plat, the Deed and the records thereof reference is here made for all purposes. TEXAS: TI. That the City Secretary is hereby directed to publish a Notice of this intended sale by the City, and to prepare all notices and bid procedures as prescribed by Article 5421-C-12 of the Revised Civil of Texas Statutes as amen,ded, and all other applicable laws: ITT. That all net proceeds, after payment of any outstanding indebtedne"ss against this property, shall be utilized by the City for the funding of City projects hereinafter to be determined by the City Council.
