RESOLUTION NO. R2010-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PEARLAND, TEXAS, TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN AREAS IN THE CITY (AREA 5).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Council has determined that the proposed annexation
of property located in Area 5, as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, requires further
analysis of the potential impact of annexation on land use in Area 5.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby temporarily suspends the proposed
annexation of Area 5 to provide staff additional time to evaluate the effect of annexation
on land uses in Area 5.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 9th day of August, A.D., 2010.
