Subject: Texaco pipeline adjustment agreement
Date: April20, 1998
CC: Paul Grohman
There are three pipelines that have to be adjusted in order to proceed with the overpass project
(Texaco, Seminole, and Houston Pipeline). Each company requires that their approved
contractors perform the work on the pipeline and the City reimburse them for the work. We
already have an executed agreement with Houston Pipeline for$99,407 and I am still waiting for
the agreement from Seminole (cost estimate is $50,000).
Attached is the agreement from Texaco (cost estimate is $81,179). Texaco requires a specific
authorization from the Council and a copy of the minutes before they will proceed. Please
prepare a resolution for the April 27 Council meeting authorizing Paul to sign the agreement.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks.
