A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE FUNDING PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That certain Funding Plan for the Community Development Block
Grant Program, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby authorized and approved.

funds for educational materials and informational
resources for low-income male adolescents that will
benefit from mentoring and prevention education to
avoid substance abuse, violence, crime and academic
failure. At the proposed per beneficiary cost of $600,
approximately 25 youth participants will be served
throughout the Program Year.

rebar and other necessary materials.

Pearland staff. Staff will be working on new consulting
contract,
