The O�vner �vi91 retain records of such costs in accordance ��ith the provisions of 23 CFR Part 645, Subpart A.

This agreement is subject ta canceiVa�ion by the Cih� at any time up to tt�e date that �vork under this abreenient has
been authorized. City shali reimburse Q�vner 10(}%0 of all cost incurred by O�vner up to the date af reeeipt of
Notic� of C'anceYfatioa�.
`T`l�e City Auditor may conduct an audit or investigation af any entity receiving funds frorn the �Cit�� directly under
this contract or indirectly through a subcontract �nder this contract. Acceptance of funds directly under this
coc�traet or indirectly throu�h a subcontract under th�s contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the City
Auclitor, to eonduct �n audit or isl�.��sti�atic,n in co�nection 4vith those funds.
It is also eYpressly understood that tlie C1�►�ner canducts the adjustnlent, remova9, or relocat�on at its o�vn risk, and
that tt�e O�i�ner agrees to inclemnify and hold the City harniless for damage to existing facilities caused by the
conduct of the O��°ner or any thirc� party tivorkir�g on behalf of Ow�er.

fn general the scope of work is to recondition 200' of fhe existing pipeline fnr the
construction of MAGNQLIA RD across the pipeline RC)W.
C�NTRACTOR will excavate the 16" pipeline expasing the p�pe, inspect the pipe
and pipe caating on the pipeline segment. Th� Con#ractor will remove af 100%
of any pipe coafing, see Sec. �.2.1 & 9.2.3, !�elaw.
The C�IVTRACT�OR sd�all blast the r►�efal pipe to SP-10 near white and recoat
the exposed pipelic�e segmank with Specialty Po�yrner Coating "SP-2888 R.G.
pipe coating materi�l.
The CONTRACT0�2 will properly support the pipel�ne with cement bags and
install'h sack stabifized sand to 6" above the pipelir�e.
The CONTRAC�OR will come back wh�n th� Yz sack stabiEized sand to 6°
above the pipeline is dry er�ough ta �block off a 130 ft section across the
future lanes of road and esplanade ta add an additional 18-24" of Yz sack
stabi�lized sand to roughly 2 112 �1" be�ow surface grade. The stabilized
sand will aci as properly campacted sula road base acceptable to the road
contractor and the CITY QF PEARLAND.
�he CQNTRACTOR will backfill &�ompact the excavations, & cleanup t�e right
o€ way tc� ariginal or better condition.
A copy of ISNetworld OQ1 report from the E�CO site for contractor employees
qualified to N�CCER OQ requiremen#s for all covered task associated with th'ss
project, see attached OQ List. This ISNetwar�d OQ1 report from the E�GO site
for qualified employees is required ta be submi#ted before mo£�iiization to the ioi�
site. OQ Reports from any other location w�kl not be accepted, under anv
circumstances

1.2.3 If the coa�ing is tested and has ACM, '°Asbestos Containing
Material", #he ENTERPRdSE Asbestos �emoval Procedure will be
foll�wred for afl existing coating removal. Rem�ved pipe coating �uill be
containe�i, transported and disposed of properly. No coating will be le�t
ir� the excavation. ENTERPRISE will be responsible for final
disposa@ of all ACM. There is an adder tor t�is procedure in �he Bid
Farrr�.
7.3 SUPPLIED BY C�NTRA�CTOR

1.5.2 All excavations wil'k be sloped or shoretl to meet OSHA and EPCO
Contractor 5afety Manual requirements.

pipe. All 12" pipe for welder testing will �e supplied by ENTERf�RISE.
1�6.4 7es#ing of welders & destruetive testing of welder qu�alification test, if
req�ired, wilf be performed at a testting lab designated by ENTERPRISE.
'1.6.5 Any testing of welders will be coordinated by the ENTERPRISE prtiject
inspector.
1.6.6 Any produc6ian welds ta the pipeline will be 10Q% NDT {X-ray, Dye
Per�etrate, etc.) in accordance with thse requirements of API 11Q4, B31.4

�rior at start of the project.
2.1.2 The Safet,+ Orientation will be perfarmed on site by the E�ITERPRISE
Safeky Goordinakor & Ef�TERPRISE Inspectar.
2.1.3 The Safery Orientation will be documented on t�e ENTERPRISE Safeky
Orientati�n Checklist with a log of personnel atter¢ding the Safety
Orien�a#ian.
2.1.4 The Project Haz�rd Assessment & Job �Plan shal! be reviewed with ail
cantractar personnel Qn site.

2.3.7 F�II body harnesses & breathing aur equipment will be on site durins
excavation en#ry activities and will be inclucfed in ths Bid P�oposal.
2.3.8 An ENTERPRISE representative will iss�E Hot Work, Cold llVork &
Confined Space permits. The site will be tested far LEL, Oz and H2S at
issue of the permits.
2.3.9 The contr�ctor is responsibl� for the s�lection of a rescue team or
em�rgency service to prov'rde rescue from any permit required confined
spaee, i� required, as per E�C� Safety Procedure.
3 CENERAL

NCCER OQ requirements, as specified in Title 49 CFR Part 195 Subpart G.
