R2010-066 - 2010-05-13RESOLUTION NO. R2010-66 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, AWARDING A BID FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE TOWN DITCH PROJECT (PHASE III). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. That the City opened bids for construction services associated with the Town Ditch Project (Phase III), and such bids have been reviewed and tabulated. Section 2. That the City Council hereby awards the bid to Crossroads Industries, Inc., in the amount of $3,082,902.00. Section 3. The City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute a contract for construction services associated with the Town Ditch Project. This total cost is 12% below engineer's estimate for these items. No discrepancies were found in any of the bids submitted: After reviewing Cross Roads' submitted qualifications documentation and speaking with the • subconsultants planned for the major and critical pieces of design, Jacobs recommends that the construction contract be awarded to Cross Roads Industries, Inc.
