A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND,
TEXAS, CHANGING THE PAID HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR DECEMBER 2003.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4.02 of the City's Employee Handbook, the City
provides its employees with paid holidays for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; and
WHEREAS, Christmas Day 2003 will occur on Thursday, December 25, 2003 and
the City desires to change the paid holiday for December 24, 2003 (Christmas Eve) to
December 26, 2003 to enable the employees to have Thursdey and Fridey es paid
holidays; now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
That the paid holiday for employees that would have occurred on December 24,
2003, be and the same is hereby changed to, December 26, 2003.
