R200'I-'I54A A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, AMENDING R2001-154, ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES AFFECTING THE MAXIMUM PHYSICAL SIZE OF MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICTS LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY. WHEREAS, on August 25, 1997, the City Council declared its intent to enter into agreements for the creation of municipal utility districts within the corporate limits of the City when and if such creation is beneficial to the City; and WHEREAS, on September 13, 2001, the City Council conducted a workshop to review potential guidelines affecting the maximum physical size of certain in-city municipal utility districts that utilize the flat reimbursement model as it applies to the reimbursement of City taxes; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to limit the number of acres comprising In- City Municipal Utility District Nos. 17, 18, 19 and 23 to a maximum of 775 acres; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. The number of acres comprising an In-City Municipal Utility District Nos° 17, 18, 19 and 23 is hereby limited to 775 acres.
