Dorothy L.GCook City Secretary City of Pearland, Texas ORDINANCE NO. /t I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, 'TEXAS EXTENDING THE PROVISIONS OF THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE AS AMENDED INTO THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 970a, Section L{. of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, Ordinance No. 58 and Ordinance No. 58A is hereby extended in its application to include all of the area within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Pearland, Texas. The provisions of such ordinances shall have the same force and effect within said area of extraterritorial jurisdiction as within the corporate limits of the City of Pearland, Texas, except as provided in Section 2 and 3 of this ordinance. Section 2. No violation of any provision of the above numbered ordinances outside the corporate limits of the city, but within such city's area of extraterritorial jurisdiction, shall constitute a mis- demeanor under such ordinance, nor shall any fine provided for in such Ordinance be applicable to a violation within such area of extraterritorial jurisdiction. Section 3. In the event of any provision of the above numbered ordinances is violated within the area of extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Pearland, Texas, and outside its corporate limits, the City may institute any appropriate action or proceedings in the District Court to enjoin the violation of such ordinance. • It being the intention of the Ci y Council of the City of Pearland to make the Subdivision Ordinance and all present able in the extraterritorial Texas, as set out her'ein._` first and final and future amendments thereto enforc jurisdiction of the City of Pearland PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on _this the ji22 day of ATTES2: City Secretary, City of Pearland, 1970•
