AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF PEARLAND, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDINGitx
THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND ‘/)
GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF Y
SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER
CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE
ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY; AND CONTAINING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and
acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an
interest in the territory to be annexed, to -wit:

Of 17.5769 acres of land being a portion of Lots 104 thru 107 and
Lots 87 thru 90 of the Allison & Richey Gulf Coast Home Company
Subdivision, as recorded in Volume 4, Page 48 of the Map Records
of Harris County, Texas, and being situated in the T. J. Green
Survey, Abstract No. 290, Harris County, Texas, said 17.5769
acres of land being more particularly described by metes And
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a 5/8 inch iron rod set in the northeast line of
said T. J. Green Survey and the southwest line of the E.M. House
Survey, Abstract No. 1075, and being located North 44 degrees
12' 21" West, 80.01 feet from the common corner of said T. J.
Green Survey and said E. M. House Survey;
THENCE South 46 degrees 27' 30" West along the northwest line of

to the City of Pearland, Texas, and is not more than one-half (1/2)
mile in width; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the
6th day of April, 1992; and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and
against the same the City Council has voted to grant such petition and
to annex said territory to the City of Pearland, Texas, now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND,
TEXAS:
