D., Pat Jones City Secre`£ary City of Pearland, Texas 113=47-2704 ORDINANCE NO. 642 AN ORDINANCE VACATING, CLOSING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN 20' ACCESS EASEMENT, CONSTITUTING A PORTION OF BLOCK 8 OF GREEN TEE TERRACE TOWNHOUSES, PEARLAND, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. WHEREAS, the City Council has received the application of John Garner, agent for Glenn Lilie, owner, pursuant to Ordinance No. 559, for abandonment of a certain access easement specifical- ly described at Exhibit "A" and generally described by reference to the annexed plat; and WHEREAS, an September 14, 1992, a public hearing was con- ducted with respect to the application pursuant to notice; no one speaking in opposition to the application; and WHEREAS, at the close of the hearing, the City Council found and determined that public convenience and necessity did not require retention of the subject easement; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. The City Council finds and determines that there has been compliance with the terms of Ordinance No. 559, estab- lishing a procedure for abandoning public ways and that all required notices of public hearing and Council action have been given. Section 2. That this certain access easement fully de- scribed at Exhibit "A", annexed hereto and incorporated herein for all appropriate purposes, is hereby VACATED, CLOSED and ABANDONED by the City of Pearland, Texas. Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to attest, all documents necessary to give effect to this Ordinance. Section 4. A certified copy of this Ordinance recorded in the official records of Harris County.
