ORANGE, The regular meeting was called to order with the following present: Dan Keller -Chairperson Gail Birdsong -Vice Chairperson Rey Sanchez - Cocr~r~issioner Mary Hickling -Director **** Guests: Jim Z~mplin P,PPROVAL OF MINUTES: Chairperson Keller declared the November 9, 1982 minutes to be approved as received. The Cornni:ssion agreed. ACTIVITY: A letter dated 11/29/82 from Chief Stanford was read regarding the indefinite suspension of Rito Llamas and set aside to be discussed in closed session. No reports were trade by the Caamdssianers. The regular meeting recessed in order for the Comriissicm to have an erecutive session as identified by Article 6252-17, Sectioc: 2(g), to hear information on disciplinary action taken against Pearland police officers. The Commission reconvened, and Chairperson Keller read Resolution 82-1. Keller then moved that the Coarnussion adapt that resolution. Commissioner Sanchez seconded the motion, and it carried iutianimously. The Co~mtission received as information the following: A Dopy of General Order # 82-7, dated 11/18/82 with an effective date of 12/1/82, sided by Chief Glenn Stanford. A letter frnan City Manager, Ron Wicker, dated 11/30/82; subject: verification of vacant positions. Mena from Mary Hickling of experr3i.tures. FYam Buford Parrish, a response to Chairperson Keller's request dated 11/10/82, for rrore detailed information concerning the status of all officers. Commissioner Birdsong iroved that all information be accepted into the record. Motion carried. AATOLA2N: The meeting was adjourned at 9:02 P.M.
