A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND,
TEXAS, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. R98-30 AND ELIMINATING TERM
LIMITATIONS FOR PERSONS SERVING ON APPOINTED BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that term limitations for members
serving on appointed Boards and Commissions do not serve the best interest of the
public,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Council finds and concludes that term limitations for
persons serving on Boards and Commissions do not serve the best interest of the
public.
Section 2.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this the 28th
A.D.,2003.
That Resolution No. R98-30 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
