COKER CITY ATTORNEY 2 MEMORANDUM TO: FROM: DATE: SUBJECT: Darrin Coker, City Attorney David Casfillo, Director of Finance Chris Kidwell ~t~ December 17, 1999 Resolution for Urban Forestry grant The City of Pearland has received an award to renew our Urban Forestry Grant with the Texas Forest Service. In order to accept this award, City Council must pass a resolution authorizing the City Manager to approve the contract. I would like to place such a resolution on the 1/10/2000 City Council Agenda. The contract brings the City $I0,000 toward our Urban Forestry position and requires that we fund the remainder of the position as match, as included in the current budget. I have attached a sample resolution. Please contact me if you have any questions. 3519 LIBERTY DRIVE · PEARLAND, TEXAS 77581~5416-19 · 281-652-1600 · www. ci.pearland.tx.us
