is attached hereto as "Exhibit A". Compensation for this
phase shall be 85 percent of the fee computed. For the
purpose of invoicing a construction cost estimate of $248,600
at a percent fee of 10.2% (12.00% x .85) shall be used. This
fee is computed to be $25,357.00. The final fee shall be
adjusted based upon the contractor's price for the work.
B. Construction Phase:
The compensation to the Engineer for construction phase
shall be 15% of the total basic fee computed as described
in Section A of Basis of Compensation. This estimated
fee is computed to be $4,475.00
C. Field Surveying work:
A budget not to exceed $7,000.00, is recommended for the
field survey work to gather topographical information and
defining the existing R.O.W.'s. This budget does not
include field and office work for acquisition of any
easement. This service shall be invoiced based upon our
current Schedule of Per Diem Charges (see attachment).
This amount shall not exceed without prior authorization
from the City.
D. Geotechnical

at subcontractor's cost, plus 10%.
Payments will be made in proportion to that part of the
services which have been accomplished as evidenced by monthly

any such statement, the City shall fail to pay the Engineer the
full sum specified in any statement, then the City shall pay to the
Engineer, in addition to the sum shown as due by such statement,

per annum from the date of such statement until fully paid, which
shall fully liquidate any injury to Engineer arising from such
delay in payments.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
It is expected that after services for this project have been
initiated, they can proceed as outlined herein without undue
interruption caused by lack of essential information required from
you. Such interruption, understandably, requires both reassignment
of manpower, delay in completion, and will constitute a change of
scope. Additional effort required by such delays will be billed on
per-diem charges attached to this contract.
We propose that this Agreement may be terminated without cause
at any time prior to completion of the work either by yourself, or
by us, by giving 15 days written notice to the other. Upon
termination you would owe us for compensation earned under this
Agreement to the date of termination. Copies of all completed or
partially completed notes or plans prepared on this project would
be delivered to you if this termination occurred.
It is understood that this Proposal is valid for thirty (30)
days. Subsequent to that date, we reserve the right to review the
basis of payment to allow for changing costs as-well-as to adjust
starting and completion dates to conform to work load.
If this Proposal meets with your approval, we would appreciate
your signing one copy below and returning it to us.
We certainly appreciate the opportunity to submit this
Proposal and look forward to working with you on the project.
