CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION - FIRST AND ONLY READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 912 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE BRAZORIA COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AND HOME PROGRAMS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1998, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2000, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE COUNTY OF BRAZORIA; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
