Jim Mooney, 13206 Stone Road, stated that he and his son both own property
across the street from this. He explained that the existing business is no problem,
however, he is concerned about other industrial type businesses that may move
in in the future with this type of zoning on the property. He stated that this is
primarily a residential area.
V. COUNCIL/PLANNING COMMISSION/STAFF DISCUSSION
Councilmember Richard Tetens asked what type of business is there now.
Mr. Mooney stated that they refurbish industrial type trailers, etc. He added that
they have been in business about twenty (20) years. He also added that
approximately ten to twelve (10-12) years ago they installed an area for sand
blasting.
Director of Planning and Community Development Dennis . Smith stated that this
area is residential on the comprehensive plan.

not be here tonight, however, this application will be considered at the next
Planning and Zoning meeting when the owner will be present. He added that they
will discuss other zoning options with the owner.

owner because of the residential area around it.
