R99-015 03-08-99RESOLUTION NO. R99-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. R93-2 AND R93-31, ADOPTED ON JANUARY 11, 1993 AND AUGUST 23, 1993, RESPECTIVELY, PERTAINING TO UTILITY SERVICE FEES; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. That Resolution Nos. R93-2 and R93-31, as they may have been amended from time to time, are hereby repealed in their entirety. Section 2. Savings. All rights and remedies which have accrued in favor of the City under this Resolution and amendments thereto shall be and are preserved for the benefit of the City. Section 3. Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid, unconstitutional or otherwise unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof. Section 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage of its first and only required reading by City Council.
