"July 6, 1964
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEARLAND, TEXAS
We, the under -signed, do hereby request de -ann-
exation from the City of Pearland.
r --
Since we are located in an isolated place, on Dixie
Farm Road between FM 518 and Highway 35, and due to
- the fact that there are only ten families on this
road, we rea ize that the City cannot afford to give
us water and sewage, etc....
Therefore, at this time, we ask to be de -annexed
until there can be something done to give us the
conveniences. We feel that taxation without any
of the benefits due us is unfair and unconstitutional.
We request that action be taken on this petition at
once........
