A motion was made by Councilman Sanders that this meeting will adjourn
,no' later than -10:00 P. M. Amended by Councilman Courtright that
all future meetings be adjourned by 10:00 P. M. Seconded by Councilman
Courtright. All voted Faye."
Mr. Holder: States that Jamison represented by him had presented
petition to be deannexed due to failure of City to provide service.
Stating portion of law - further stating Council didhave power to
deannex - Article 973 - Article 975. Re: City's authority to
deannex, 90 days have passed since petiti6ns filed with City. Holder
states problems of City, states problems ;in original annexation, vast
void in open property between. Jamison City property. No services
available at this time to Jamison states Holder. End statement:
Sanders: Assuming petitions are in order and proper time has lapsed
and all forms in effect, what is procedure?
Holder: Council action.
Galli: Court action.
Holder requote Article 973; not mandatory, Article 975 is mandatory.
Galli points out Article 970A - Section 10 after due discussion it
was.resolved that Mr. Jamison stated that he did have fire protection.
A motion was made by Councilman Sanders that this matter be referred
to City Attorney for briefing and a written reply to each Councilman
within two weeks so we can let people.(Jamisons) by 13th df June.
Wayne Holder so stated that action would not be requested until after
-Wof June and this time a decision will be made.

Seconded by Councilman Courtright. All voted "aye."
June 13, 1967 special meeting to discuss Jamison deannexing.
A motion was made by Councilman Sanders meeting adjourn. Seconded
by Councilman Wasek. All voted "aye."
