A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Pearland was
called to order by Mayor Keller with the following present:

The invocation was given by Councilman Aubrey G. Ellis.,
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING:
1. NORTH END SEWER SYSTEM - WPC TEX 552.
2. REVISED TRAILER PARK ORDINANCE.
3. ENGINEERtS CONTRACT.
NORTH END SEWER SYTEM:
City Attorney Bobby Williams reported on the Condemnation of the
plant site for WPC TEX 552. The Commissioners, Jim Rocacky,
E. E. Martin and R. J. Novosad awarded E. A. Kelly, Trustee, the
sum of $15,000.00 .for ., 4.779 acres out of Tract "All Block 3 of
Twin Creek Woods, excluding drainage easements.
It was moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Griffin
that the City of Pearland officially recognize and accept the
award of the appointed special Commissioners, and that Check No. 124
on the Sewer Construction Bond Fund be approved. Motion passed 5 to 0.
It was moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Griffin that
the City Administrator instruct William C. Walsh to proceed with the
bids for the North End Sewer System. This motion contingent on
all facts and papers being in order. Motion passed 5 to 0'.
APPROVAL OF EXPENSES:
It was moved by Councilman McComb, seconded by Councilman Griffin
that Check No. 790 - General Fund'- in the awount of $24.00 covering
cost of two police officers attending a school of instructions, be
approved. Motion passed 5 to 0.
FIRE TRUCK.,

City Administrator Wolff stated that we had received a letter from the
Central Fire Truck Corporation regarding the driving of the new
fire truck from the factory to Pearland. This would save the City
approximately $,50.00. Mr. Wolff recommended that we permit the
truck to be driven to Pearland and the Council concurred with this
recommendation.
FIRE STATI ON :
It was moved by Councilman McComb, seconded by Councilman Ellis that
the City Administrator be authorized to execute two change orders,
(1) 6" concrete slab in place of the asphalt for the apron in front
of the sation; (2) wooden deck above the meeting room of the fire
house. The City Administrator to purchase 611 aluminum letters to
read"Pearland Fire Department" "Pearland Public Work's Department."
Motion passed 5 to 0.
BRAZOS RI,nR AUTIIgRITY.►
Mayor Keller announched that a meeting has been scheduled with the
Brazos River Authority for 7:30 P. M., July 23, 1969, at their
offices in Alvin.
TRAILER PARK ORDINANCE:
The proposed trailer park ordinance was discussed and various changes --
recommended. This ordinance to be returned to the City Attorney
for proper preparation.
