MINUTES OF A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS,
HELD ON FEBRUARY 2, 1973 AT 7:35 P. M. IN THE CITY HALL, .2335 N. TEXAS AVENUE, PEARLAND,
TEXAS. I
The meeting was called to order by Mayor McComb with the following present:

INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The invocation was given by Councilman Tom Reid. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by
Tax Assessor -Collector James O. DeShazer.
PARKING IN THE 3900 BLOCK OF PEAR STREET:
It was moved by Councilman Sanders, seconded by Councilman Griffin that this item,
previously tabled by the Council, be brought before the City Council at this time.
Motion passed 5 to 0.
Chief Singleton recommended that parking on both sides of the 3900 block of Pear
be limited to 1 hour.
It was moved by Councilman Griffin, seconded by Councilman Reid that we enforce one
hour parking in the 3900 block of Pear Street. Motion passed 3 to 2. Councilman
Wasek and Councilman Sanders opposed.
Councilman Sanders requested that an item be placed on the next regular agenda for
No Parking on Mykawa Road.
AGREEMENT ON MAJOR TRUNKING - WOODCREEK ADDITION:
It was moved by Councilman Griffin, seconded by Councilman Frank that this item,
previously tabled by the Council, be brought before the City Council at this time.
Motion passed 5 to 0.
Meeting recessed at 8:00 P. M. - Reconvened at 8:26 P. M.
