IV. CITIZEN COMMENTS
In order to hear all citizen comments at a reasonable hour, the City Council requests
that speakers respect the three-minute time limit for individual comments and the five-
minute time limit for an individual speaking on behalf of a group. This is not a
question-answer session, however, it is an opportunity to voice your thoughts with City
Council.
TAXPAYER IMPACT STATEMENT
Pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.043(c)(2), the City of Pearland provides
the following comparison for the median-valued homestead property. This statement
shows the estimated annual property tax bill for a median-valued homestead in
Pearland, comparing the current tax rate, the no-new-revenue tax rate, the proposed
tax rate, and the maximum tax rate options.
