AFFIDAVIT
Before me, the undersigned authority, on this the day of June, 2026, personally
appeared Rick Fernandez, who, after being by me duly sworn, deposed as follows:
"My name is Rick Fernandez. I am over the age of 18 and am competent to make this
affidavit. Rise Group Management, LLC is a party to official City business that will be
considered by the City Council. As defined by Section 2.77 (c) of the Pearland Code of
Ordinances, I have a conflict of intrest with Rise Group Management, LLC as my business
currently leases property from them. I am disclosing this relationship to avoid any conflicts
pursuant to State law and/or City ordinances. As a result, this Affidavit shall be filed with the
City Secretary and I will abstain from participation, or a vote, or matter before the City
Council as it may relate to Rise Group Management, LLC."
