Vice Chair Washington made a motion, seconded by Board Member Rice, to approve the minutes of
February 19, 2026, and Joint Special Meeting of March 16, 2026.
Motion Passed: 7 — 0

IV. FINANCIAL REPORT
Monthly Financial Reports —January and February 2026 Monthly Financial Reports
Board Member Rice made a motion, seconded by Board Member Bakthavatsalam, to approve the
financial reports for January and February 2026

V. NEW BUSINESS
A. Excuse the absence of Board Member Bakthavatsalam from February 19, 2026, regular
meeting and excuse the absence of Board Members Bakthavatsalam, Clay and Koza from the
Joint Special Meeting of March 16, 2026
Vice Chair Washington made a motion, seconded by Secretary Slater, to approve the absence
of Board Member Bakthavatsalam from February 19, 2026, regular meeting and the absence of
Board Members Bakthavatsalam, Clay and Koza from the Joint Special Meeting on March 16,
2026
Motion Passed: 7 - 0
B. Review of Proposed FY26 Budget Amendments, FY27 Program of Work and FY27 Budget Major
Expenditures.
President, Matt Buchanan presented the preview of the Proposed FY26 Budget Amendments,
draft FY27 Program of Work and FY27 Budget Major Expenditures that will be presented to the
Board on May 21, 2026.
No action.
C. Visit Pearland Semi Annual Update
Tracy Rohrbacher, Executive Director, of Visit Pearland presented the Visit Pearland Semi
Annual Update
No action.
D. Pearland Chamber of Commerce FY26 2nd Quarter BizConnect Report
Jim Johnson, President and CEO of the Pearland Chamber, presented this item.
No action.

E. Activity Report
Matt Buchanan presented the Activity Report which included department activities, 2025
Annual Compliance report and the City of Pearland Assessed Value of Taxable property

After a recess the meeting went into Executive Session at 6:07 p.m.
