A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, amending a
professional services agreement with Aguirre & Fields, LP, for construction
management and field inspections, in the additional estimated amount of
$152,047.64.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That certain contract for professional services (staff augmentation), a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and made a part hereof for all purposes, is hereby
authorized and approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute and
the City Secretary to attest a contract for professional services (staff augmentation).
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this the 18th day of May, A.D., 2026.

ASSUMPTIONS FOR MAXIMUM FEE PAYABLE:
TR2103 Intersection Improvements in Shadow Creek Ranch
Extension of existing project- Duration Covered- 4-1-26 to 9-30-26. The basic scope includes site inspection, participation in project-related meetings,
progress schedule review checks, providing input and data for change orders, creation of DWRs, filing of project information, collection of quantity-
supporting documentation, and creation of pay item sketches including field measurements.

The LOE is an estimate; billing will be based on actual time spent.
The staffing levels are based on assumptions made during LOE creation. One Inspector will be assigned to cover all work shown on LOE. If additional
inspector/s are needed written approval is required before staffing levels are adjusted.
The added rates included will cover requested added projects and will not change for the duration of the contract, Aguirre and Fields, LP will bill the city
on a monthly basis and at the end of each month according with the actual hours spent. The total amount estimated is a not-to-exceed value, any
changes will require written authorization by the city.
Level of Effort (LOE) developed for City of Pearland Public Works inspector staff augmentation Amendment 1.
The inspector/s will function as City of Pearland staff and perform inspections for all active work as requested and as practical. The hours included in this
LOE accommodate a full-time Inspector/s working a standard Monday–Friday schedule for the following identified projects. The duration of the projects
was based on information provided by COP PMs and the durations can be seen on the attached schedule and proposed staffing plan.
