R2026-11 A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, ratifying motor fuel expenditures from August 2025 through January 12, 2026; and authorizing the remaining two renewal terms (two 1 -year renewals) of a unit price contract for the purchase of motor fuel with Houston -Pasadena Apache Oil Company, in the annual estimated amount of $1,250,000.00. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS: Section 1. That competitive bids for the purchase of motor fuels were previously obtained by the City. Section 2. That the City Council hereby authorizes a renewal contract with Houston - Pasadena Apache Oil Company, in the unit supply amounts reflected in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Section 3. Box 177 Pasadena, TX 77501 RE: Contract Renewal No. 0622-16C Motor Fuel City of Pearland Agreement Resolution Number 82024-159, Bid/RFP Number 0622-16 To whom it may concern, Please be advised that the City of Pearland proposes to exercise its right to renew the current contract for Motor Fuel for the City of Pearland, per the specifications of City of Pearland Bid no. 0622-16, The terms and conditions set forth in the existing contract allow for four (4) additional one (1) year renewal periods, if both parties are in agreement with renewing. This letter is to inform you that the City is exercising its right to renew the Contract for the third (3rd) time, The renewal contract number is 0622-16C. The renewal option will begin on August 13, 2025, and expire September 30, 2025, If you find the stated terms satisfactory, please sign and date this letter and return a scanned copy via email to crnurphypearlandtx.gov.
