The meeting was called to order by A. V. Jolley, Temporary Chairman, with
the following present:

GENERAL DISCUSSION
The Internnational Plumbing ''Coiu any was bLOught up to vote uu the A.B.S.
trap or the P.V.C. trap. h has no corrobiit, and uo stickage. It was
moved by Walter Besser and seconded by M. R. Swensen to use the plastic
lines with a IA swing tLap.
The MOLjOu was passed unanimously
The letter trom the Celanese Plastic Company was discussed. Mr. Jolley
suggested that the board fill out the questionaire. Mr. Jolley suggested
that a letter should be sent tO theiL Company inviting thein to attend the
next meeting and demonstrate their product. El. Jolley Lead chapter eight
of the City of Pearland rlumbing Code which outlines the duties of the
board.
A dis%ussion was held on the $10 fee for filing a complaint with the boaLd.

ELECTIONS
A motion was made by Waite,. BesSeL and seconded by M. R. SweLLSELL
that A. V. Jolley be elected Chairman. Motion was passed unanimously.
A motion was made by A. V. Jolley and seconded by Walter Besser that
Raymund Sockwell be elected Vice -Chairman. Motion was passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Walter Besser and seconded by A. v. Jolley for M. K.

It was disiussed that the acting secretary type a postcard CO eaih
meuLber at least lU days prior to the meeting and call each member on the
day of the meeting. A meeting every month for the next tew months was
decided. The next meeting is to be held on November 6, 1972, at 3:00 P.M.
AIRCONDITIONING DRAINS
mi. Shiver brought up the eiLeouditiiuing draius and whether they
should be kept out of bathtubs_ Under the Southern Plumbing Code it Leiomiueuds
that it be used in a trap on the wall. It is permissible but is has to
be put iu a tiap nu mete than a 26" stand pipe. Mr. Shiver recommended
that a trap be put in the wall but au offset stand be put in it. A motion
was made by M:.R.,Swensen and seconded by A. V. Jolley that Mr. Herridge
eufuiee a 12 tiap at least five feet below the ceiling with au offset.
The motion was passed unanimously.
