MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS
HELD ON MARCH 15, 1976 AT 7:00 P. M. IN THE CITY HALL, 2335 N. TEXAS AVENUE,
PEARLAND, TEXAS.
The meeting was called to order with the following present:
Mayor Carlton McComb
Councilman Tom Reid
Councilman Benny J. Frank
Councilman Harry Farley
City Manager William E. Wolff
City Attorney Bobby J. Williams
City Secretary Dorothy L. Cook
Absent from the meeting: Councilman Cecil W. Griffin.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING:
ADJUSTMENT OF EASEMENT ABUTTING LOT 22, BLOCK 5,
GREEN TEE TERRACE SECTION I.
It was moved by Councilman Farley, seconded by Councilman Reid that the letter
from Green Tee Corporation dated March 9, 1976 be placed in the minutes of this
meeting. Motion passed 3 to 0.

Gentlemen:
Please consider this letter as our desire to have the following described property
returned to Green Tee Corporation ownership:
A tract of land containing 0.139 acres, being part of and out of the
right-of-way of Green Tee Drive out of Green Tee Terrace, Section One,
as recorded in Volume 178, Page 28, of the Map Records of Harris County,
Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the South right-of-way line of aforesaid Green Tee Drive,
said point being the Northwesterly corner of Lot 22, Block 5, Green Tee Terrace,
Section One;
THENCE: N. 19100100" E., 11.04 feet to a point for corner, said point being 60
feet Southerly of the Northerly line of Green Tee Drive;
THENCE: Northeasterly along a curve to the left, said curve being 60 feet Southerly
and concentric to the Northerly right-of-way line of Green Tee Drive, having a
central angle of 48039115" and a radius of 310.00 feet, a distance of 263.46 feet
to a point for corner, on the Southeasterly boundary of Green Tee Terrace, Section
One;
THENCE: 5.45°00'25" W., along the Southeasterly boundary of Green Tee Terrace,
Section One, a distance of 193.68 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 22, Block
5, Green Tee Terrace, Section One;

THENCE: N.71°00'00" W., along the Northerly line of Lot 22, Block 5, Green Tee
Terrace, Section One, a dLstance of 111.68 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
This area was created by a drafting error and is of no use now, or ever will be
of any use, either to the City of Pearland or Green Tee Corporation. It is our
purpose to immediately convey this property to Mr. Thomas A. Ferguson, Jr.,
et ux Adelaide W. Ferguson, without compensation. It is further understood and
agreed that all setback lines and other easements are to be adhered to as set
out in the recorded restrictions. The purpose and intent of this transaction is
to make the above described property a part of Lot 22, Block 5, Green Tee Terrace,
Section One, Pearland, Harris County, Texas.

It was moved by Councilman Farley, seconded by Councilman Frank that the partial
release and right-of-way be issued to Green Tee Terrace and that it be entered
into the permanent records of the City. Motion passed 3 to 0.
