RECOGNITION AND AWARDS 1. Presentation of the Transparency Trailblazer Award by the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. V. CITIZEN COMMENTS In order to hear all citizen comments at a reasonable hour, the City Council requests that speakers respect the three-minute time limit for individual comments and the five- minute time limit for an individual speaking on behalf of a group. This is not a question-answer session, however, it is an opportunity to voice your thoughts with City Council. VI. CONSENT AGENDA All items listed under the “Consent Agenda” are considered to be routine and require little or no deliberation by the City Council. These items will be enacted/approved by City Council Regular Meeting - Apr 14 2025 one motion unless a councilmember requests separate action on an item, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered by separate action (VI. Matters Removed from Consent Agenda). Approval of the Consent Agenda enacts the items of legislation. A. Consideration and Possible Action - Approval of the minutes of the Pearland City Council Special Meeting held on March 24, 2025, City Council Workshop held on March 24, 2025, and City Council Regular Meeting held on March 24, 2025. Consideration and Possible Action - Resolution No. R2025-41 - A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, regarding the application of CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp., Texas Division, to increase rates under the Gas Reliability Infrastructure Program; suspending the effective date of this rate application for forty-five days; authorizing the City to continue to participate in a coalition of cities now known as the “Alliance Of CenterPoint Municipalities-TCUC;” determining that the meeting at which the resolution was adopted complied with the Texas Open Meetings Act; making such other findings and provisions related to the subject; and declaring an effective date.
