RESOLUTION NO. R99-102B
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY'S ANNEXATION PLAN IN ACCORDANCE
WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE, SECTION 43.052.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City desires to amend its current annexation plan in
conformance with Local Government Code, Section 43.052.
Section 2. That certain amended annexation plan, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all purposes, is hereby authorized and
approved.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this the 11th day of December, A.D., 2006.

Annexation Plan Hi2:hlh!:hts
. Identifies area to be annexed that may occur on the 3rd anniversary of the date the
Plan is adopted
. Can be amended to add annexations that may occur beginning on the 3rd
anniversary of the date the Plan is amended
. Can be amended at any time to remove an area proposed for annexation
. If removed from Plan during the 1 st eighteen months, cannot be amended to add
back to the Plan for 1 year from the date the proposed annexation was removed
from the Plan. If removed during the 2nd eighteen months, cannot be amended to
add back to the Plan for 2 years from the date the proposed annexation was
removed
. Before the 90th day after the Plan is adopted or amended, the City must provide
written notice to the following: each property owner in the affected area, each
public or private entity that provides services in the affected area, and each
railroad company that owns ROW in the affected area
. If not removed from the Plan, the area must be annexed before the 31 st day after
the 3rd anniversary ofthe date the area was added to the Plan; if not, the City
cannot annex the area for 5 years
. Requirements to have a Plan apply to areas with 100 or more tracts on which one
or more residential dwellings are located on each tract
. The Plan must be posted on the City's website
EXHIBIT "A"
Annexation Plan
1. This Plan IS prepared ill conformance with Local Government Code Section
43.052.
2. The City plans to annex the property located within the boundaries of Brazoria
County Municipal District No. 2 within three years of the effective date of
Resolution No.R99-l 02A.
3. The City plans to annex the property located within the boundaries of Brazoria
County Municipal District No. 3 within three years of the effective date of
Resolution No. R99-102B.
4. Property exempted from the requirement to be on this Plan by Local Government
Code Section 43.052(h), may be annexed by the City in accordance with State
Law.
5. Three years prior to the effective date of annexation of a non-exempt property,
this Plan must be amended to include such property.
6. This plan may be amended at any time in accordance with State Law.
