ON AUGUST 9, 1979, AT 7:30 P.M. IN THE CITY HALL, 2335 N. TEXAS AVENUE, PEARLAND,
TEXAS.
The meeting was called to order with the following present:

PUBLIC HEARING:
Mayor Tom Reid announced that the first hearing would cover the Proposed
General Fund Budget of the City of Pearland for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1979 and ending September 30, 1980. He advised that the hearing
was being held in accordance with Section 8.07 of the Home Rule Charter and
the Federal Revenue Sharing Acta Also, that the Proposed Budget would be
projected on the screen and during this time all interested persons would be
given an opportunity to be heard for or against any item or -'amount of any item
therein contained. Total estimated amount of General -Fund Budget is $2,843,982.00
and the estimated amount of the Water and Sewer Budget is $934,865.00.
Mayor Reid announced that the second hearing would cover the Proposed Revenue
Sharing Budget for Entitlement Period Eleven, beginning October 1, 1979 and
ending September 30, 1980. The same procedure as the first hearing would be
followed. Total estimated amount of Revenue Sharing Budget is $112,198.00
for capital outlay shown with asterisks. After all persons present were given
an opportunity to be heard, the Mayor adjourned the Hearing at 8:45 P.M.
