The following represents the actions taken by City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission in the order they occurred during the meeting. All motions are made by Council and Planning and Zoning in consecutive order, as determined by the Mayor. I. CALL TO ORDER - COUNCIL 1 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION Mayor J. Kevin Cole called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. II. ROLL CALL - CITY COUNCIL AND CERTIFICATION OF QUORUM Mayor J. Kevin Cole Mayor Pro-Tem Joseph Koza Councilmember Tony Carbone Councilmember Mona Chavarria Councilmember Layni Cade Councilmember Rushi Patel Director of Community Development Vance Wyly Deputy City Attorney Lawrence Provins Deputy City Secretary Gladis Sanchez All members were present except for Councilmembers Adrian Hernandez and Chad Thumann. III. ROLL CALL - PLANNING AND ZONING AND CERTIFICATION OF QUORUM Chair Darrell Isenberg Commissioner Alton Dugas Commissioner Brad Kuhn Commissioner Jennifer Henrichs All members were present except for Commissioners Henry Fuertes, Ashlee Boswell and Angela McCathran. IV. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were no citizen comments. V. Co. Survey, Section 21, Abstract 309, Brazoria County, Texas, being the north half of Lot 2 of said Section 21 in the Allison -Richey Gulf Coast Home Company's Part of Suburban Gardens Subdivision as recorded in Volume 2, Pages 23-24 in the Brazoria County Plat Records. Parcel 2: Being a tract of land containing 10.000 acres, situated in the H.T. & B.R.R. Co. Survey, Section 21, Abstract 309, Brazoria County, Texas, being of all of Lot 5 of said Section 21 in the Allison -Richey Gulf Coast Home Company's Part of Suburban Gardens Subdivision as recorded in Volume 2, Pages 23-24 in the Brazoria County Plat Records. Parcel 3: Being a tract of land containing 5.006 acres, situated in the H.T. & B.R.R. Co. Survey, Section 21, Abstract 309, Brazoria County, Texas, being the south half of Lot 2 of said Section 21 in the Allison -Richey Gulf Coast Home Company's Part of Suburban Gardens Subdivision as recorded in Volume 2, Pages 23-24 in the Brazoria County Plat Records. General Location: 2905 & 2941 Smith Road, Pearland, TX. Presentation was provided by Martin Griggs, Assistant Director of Community Development. Paul Grohman, 2116 Kildare Dr., Pearland TX, 77581, and Charles Viktorin, 1109 Basalt Court, Temple, TX 76502, applicants were present to answer questions from the Council. Charles Viktorin, 1109 Basalt, Temple, TX, 76502, expressed his support for the multi -family development. David Kulcarnie, Principal, Ascendant Development Partners, 3200 Southwest Freeway, Ste 1870, Houston, TX 77027, was present to answer questions from the Council. VI.
