RESOLUTION NO. R2023-51
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Pearland, Texas, amending a
design contract with Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc., associated with the
Mykawa Road Project (BW8 to F.M. 518), in the additional amount of
$488,390.11 (total contract of $3,487,869.53).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That certain amended contract for design services associated with the
Mykawa Road Project, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for
all purposes, is hereby authorized and approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute and
the City Secretary to attest an amended contract for design services associated with the Mykawa
Road Project.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this the 12th day of June, A.D., 2023.

This amendment encompasses the following: Update design plan to install pedestrian bridge at Hickory
Slough and Clear Creek; storm sewer main crossing existing 16 - inch pipes owned by Enterprise Crude
Pipeline, LLC near Shank Road and Clear Creek and 24 & 30 - inch pipes owned by Kinder Morgan Crude &
Condensate Pipeline, LLC near Clear Creek; and retaing wall on the west side of Mykawa Road at Hickory
Slough and between McHard Road to Scott Lane and Lila Street to Isla Street.
