SION OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, HELD ON JULY 15, 1991, IMME-
DIATELY FOLLOWING THE JOINT PUBLIC HEARING, IN THE COUNCIL CHAM-
BERS, CITY HALL, 3519 LIBERTY DRIVE, PEARLAND, TEXAS
The meeting was called to order at 7:42 P.M. with the following
present:
Chairman Al Lentz
Vice Chairman Leroy Savoie
Commissioner Helen Beckman
Commissioner James Garner
Commissioner Mary Starr
Commissioner Pat Courtin
City Engineer Dick Qualtrough
Asst. to City Secretary Leslie Schroeder
Commissioner Mike Bunch had an excused absence.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Leroy Savoie requested the minutes of the meeting of June 25,
1991 be corrected under the heading of "Capital Improvements
Recommendations for the 1991-92 Budget Year" item 1. It should
read the Willowcrest subdivision instead of Woodcreek.
It was moved by Leroy Savoie, seconded by Mary Starr, that the
minutes be approved as corrected.
Motion passed 6 to 0.
NEW BUSINESS
SPECIFIC USE NO. 21, REQUEST OF CARL V. HALIK, AGENT, FOR PEAR -
LAND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, OWNER, FOR A SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT FOR AGRICULTURAL ANIMAL HUSBANDRY IN AN R-2 DISTRICT, ON
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3775 S. MAIN.
Referring to the information received in the Public Hearing held
just prior to the meeting, Chairman Lentz commended the agricul-
tural program, and expressed that the program teaches the stu-
dents a lot of worthwhile information.
It was moved by Mary Starr, seconded by Helen Beckman, that
recommendation be made to Council that SP-21 be approved as
submitted.
Motion passed 6 to 0.

The meeting adjourned at 7:55 P.M.

on July 15, 1991, immediately following the joint public hearing
considered the above mentioned specific use request.
It was moved by Mary Starr, seconded by Helen Beckman, that
recommendation be made to Council that Specific Use No. 21 be
approved.
