SION OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS, HELD ON SEPTEMBER 25, 1990,
AT 7:30 P. M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, 3519 LIBERTY
DRIVE, PEARLAND, TEXAS
The meeting was called to order with the following present:
Chairman Al Lentz
Vice Chairman Leroy Savoie
Commissioner Clyde Starns
Commissioner Mary Starr
Commissioner Benny Frank
Commissioner Helen Beckman
Commissioner James Garner (Entered at
7:37 P.M.)
Building Department Don Guynes
Assistant City Secretary Pat Vaught
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was moved by Benny Frank, seconded by Mary Starr, that the
Minutes of the Meeting of August 28, 1990, be approved as pre-
sented.
Motion passed 6 to 0.
Chairman welcomed City Manager James DeShazer to the meeting as
well as a government student in the audience.
NEW BUSINESS
GENERAL DISCUSSION
City Manager DeShazer discussed with the Commission the need for
a workshop with the City Council to consider the amendments to
the sign ordinance. Tentative dates were suggested and it was
the consensus of the Commission that they would be happy to meet
at the pleasure of the Council to resolve this important issue.
It was again noted that the subdivision ordinance is in need of
re -working but will be done at a future time.

The meeting adjourned at 7:47 P. M.
