CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:43 p.m. Commissioner Ray Bacon was absent. ?T. NEW BUSINESS A. CONSIDERATION & POSSIBLE ACTION —ZONING APPLICATION NO. 1061 Request for an amendment to the Land Use and Urban Development Ordinance of said City from classification Suburban Development District (SD) to Light Industrial District (M-1), on the following described property, to wit: Zone Change Application No. 1061 AN. Executive Director of Community Services Tobin Maples stated the applicant came in to apply for General Business, and at that time staff recommended it to be Office Professional. Steven Tinnen, agent for Shadow Creek.Ranch Development, stated they would like to try to put some sort of restriction on the development, such as the building façade. Commissioner David Ransom asked if a Planned Unit Development is something the applicant would be willing to do, in order to set aside land for the linear park and provide restrictions on development. Stephan Robinson, agent, stated the purchase of this property is pursuant to this zone change application. Executive Director of Community Development Tobin Maples stated that the applicant would have to comply with the City's requirements. A PUD would dictate other standards. Vice Chairman Sheryl Greiner made a motion to table with a second made by r Commissioner David Ransom, so that the applicant could develop a PUD. Motion to table passed 6-0 D. CONSIDERATION & POSSIBLE ACTION — ZONE CHANGE APPLICATION NO. 1127 Request for an amendment to the Land Use and Urban Development Ordinance of said City from classification Suburban Development District (SD) to Single Family Dwelling District (R-1), on the following described property, to wit: Zone Change Application No. 1127 Legal Description: 19.697 acres, Tract 2A, and 4.3412 acres, Tract 3, Abstract 509, H.T. & B.R.R. CONSIDERATION & POSSIBLE ACTION — Preliminary Plat of Shadow Creek Ranch SF-34, 21.586 acres being out of the S.G. Haynie Survey, Abstract 212, City of Pearland, Brazoria County, Texas Plats and Plans Administrator Richard Keller stated staff recommends approval as presented. Commissioner Ruby Sandars made a motion to approve with a second made by Commissioner David Ransom. Motion to approve passed 6-0 I. CONSIDERATION & POSSIBLE ACTION—Preliminary Plat of CVS Sherwood, a subdivision of 14.8659 acres of land out of the Thomas J. Green Survey, Abstract 198 City of Pearland, Brazoria County, Texas Plats and Plans Administrator Richard Keller stated staff recommends approval with three comments, change the names of the Planning and Zoning 'o' Commissioner's to current, provide the year of adjustment for Base Flood Elevation in Note No. 5, correct spelling of"Lane" in Note No. 17.
