Mayor Reid advised the audience that the individuals who signed the register to speak
on December 5, 1983, and chose not to speak at that Hearing, would be given an oppor-
tunity to do so at this Hearing.

Mr. John Mason of Carter Burgess, planners on this project, exhibited the proposed
zoning map and the new color scheme that would be used in the revision.

M. R. Cockrell, Brookside Village - Question about placing trailer home on five acres
located inside Pearland City Limits;
Ralph Payne, Rt. 2, Box 2943, Pearland, Texas - Question about annexation and question
about tax exemption. Statement that he wished to -have his property zoned Commercial;
Marvin Primrose, Route 3, Box 3925, Pearland, Texas - Statement that he would turn in
application for change in zoning on his property;
George Stourton, Elsa, Texas — Question about criteria used in determining proposed
zoning;
C. D. Anderson, 3215 Jacquelyn Drive, Pearland, Texas - Statement about further develop-
ment of multi -family and townhouse development along 518 due to traffic;
M. R. Cockrell, Brookside Village - Owns five acres inside City, question as to when
water and sewer would be available in newly annexed area;
Ralph Payne, Rt. 2, Box 2943, Pearland, Texas - Statement about Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company's construction in area of Dixie Farm Road regarding manholes three feet
above grade, and requested this be checked;
Mary Ann Carmichael, 6534 Scott Lane, Pearland, Texas - Question about building storage
building or adding on to existing structure;
Bobby Williams, Pearland, Texas - Statement regarding open burning in any area of the
City including newly annexed areas or anywhere in State. Fines can be up to $1,000
under new law.
