NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with order of the Office of the Governor
issued March 16, 2020, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Pearland
will conduct its Regular Meeting scheduled for August 17, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., located at
City Hall, 3519 Liberty Dr., Pearland, Texas 77581 by telephone or video conference
in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called
“social distancing”) to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). There will be
no public access to the location described above.
The public will be permitted to offer public comments telephonically as provided by the
agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting.; no in-person
input will be allowed.
All speakers MUST register in advance (Monday, August 17 by 12 p.m.). All public
comments will occur at the beginning of the meeting starting at 6:30 p.m.
To speak remotely at the August 17, 2020 Planning and Zoning Meeting, residents must:
Submit the online registration form found at: https://www.pearlandtx.gov/departments/city-
secretary/speaker-request-registration-form
Registration must be received by 12 p.m. on Monday, August 17.
Once the registration form is received, residents will receive either an email or phone call
providing the telephone number to call on Monday, August 17.
Speakers must call in at least 30 minutes prior to meeting start in order to speak, late
callers will not be accepted and will not be able to speak.
Speakers will be placed in a queue until their time to speak.
Handouts or other information must be emailed to citysecretary@pearlandtx.gov no later
than 12 p.m. on Monday, August 17. The information will be provided to the Planning and
Zoning Commission in advance of the meeting.

Agenda enacts the items of legislation.

LOT AND VARIANCES FROM THE 3:1 DEPTH TO WIDTH RATIO AND MINIMUM

A request of Patrick Cook, the applicant; on behalf of Alberto Valencia / W. Berrios
Mechanical to Unified the variances for three of approval owners; LLC (3)
Development Code, Ordinance No. 2000-T: (1) a variance to allow the creation of a

A request of Donna Eckels of Pro-Surv, the applicant, on behalf of Icon Services, LLC
and Kenneth and Kathy Jost, owners, for approval of a Variance Permitted in Section
2.6.1.1 (b) (1) of the Unified Development Code, Ordinance No. 2000-T, to increase
the maximum lot depth to width ratio from the 3 to 1 to a ratio of 3.79 to 1 to allow the
