RESOLUTION NO. R2006-63
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PEARLAND, TEXAS, DECLARING ITS INTENT TO MAINTAIN THE
JOHN L1ZER, MAGNOLIA AND SOUTH FORK ROADWAYS AS NON-
TRUCK ROUTES UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council realizes the necessity of regulating the location of
truck routes in the City to protect the quality of life for its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City Council plans to initiate construction on the John
Lizer/Magnolia/South Fork Road Expansion Project (hereinafter "Project") in the year
2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to clarify its intent to maintain the non-truck
route status of the John Lizer, Magnolia and South Fork roadways upon completion of
the Project; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby declares it intent to maintain the
portions of the John Lizer, Magnolia and South Fork roadways, that are located in the
City, as non-truck routes upon completion of the Project.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 8th day of May, A.D., 2006.
